Worship

Northallerton

Our main Sunday Service is at 10.30 a.m.

Holy Communion is is celebrated once a month during our Sunday morning service (dates vary – please see Circuit Plan for details) and at 9.30  every Wednesday morning,  This is a “said” service lasting about 30 minutes and alternates between the Methodist Church and All Saints Parish Church.

The third Sunday of the month is  “Refresh” These services bring together all ages for a time of worship, fellowship and Biblical exploration. It is an opportunity to strengthen our Church family through shared insight, prayer and reflection, enabling us to be refreshed and renewed in our Christian faith.

If there is a 5th Sunday in the month, this will be a Circuit Service at one of the churches in the circuit – please see the Circuit Preaching plan for venues.

Coffee and fellowship is usually available after the Sunday and Wednesday services.

Osmotherley

Osmotherley Chapel dates from 1754 and is a “class” of Northallerton .

A service is held here 4 times a year. ( Spring, Summer, Harvest & Christmas).

The entrance to the chapel is down this narrow alley

The front door of the chapel is on the left as you walk down the alley from the village centre.

John Wesley preached on the village green in Osmotherley a number of times, it is believed he stood on the stone table next to the cross.
