The lockdown guidelines in relation to churches were eased at the beginning of July which allowed us to begin Sunday morning services by the end of July, subject to the continuing Government and Methodist Church Guidelines. The restrictions do not permit any other church activities on the premises at the moment.

For worship,  the regulations require  the wearing of face coverings, suitably distanced seating and no interaction within the  church.  Coming to worship is as safe as we can make it and attendance is gradually increasing though we appreciate that for a variety of reasons many of our congregation are still shielding or self- isolating.  Our pastoral visitors are making every effort to keep in touch with our church family.

The Storytellers meet at 8.00 p.m. on the 2nd Wednesday of each month to explore how each of our ongoing  faith journeys is woven into the story of Jesus.  We usually  meet in The Potting Shed but since Lockdown we have met via Zoom.  It is an open group where we can share hopes and fears,  faith and doubt in a safe space – “what is said in the room stays in the room”.
