Northallerton is the largest church in the Thirsk & Northallerton Circuit, both in size and membership. We employ a Families and Children Worker to provide support for members and also outreach to families and children in the local area.

We are a vibrant congregation of mixed ages and backgrounds with a friendly open atmosphere where all are welcome. This extends to the many midweek activities. All ages find a place here where there is the opportunity to get involved in church life in a way that is appropriate for you.

We have close links with the other churches in the town and our Holy Communion Service on Wednesday mornings alternates between the Methodist Church and All Saints Parish Church across the road.

Our Mission

The calling of Northallerton Methodist Church is to respond to the gospel of God’s love in Christ and to live out its discipleship in worship and mission

Safeguarding

The Methodist Church, along with the whole Christian community, believes each person has a value and dignity which comes directly from God’s creation in God’s own image and likeness. Christians see this as fulfilled by God’s re-creation of us in Christ. Among other things, this implies a duty to value all people as bearing the image of God and therefore to protect them from harm.
